Incoloy is a great alloy made of some great metals. The alloy is good in performance and is very efficient in the task. Just like other alloys and metals Incoloy also has some grades and in particular, Incoloy 800 is one of them and is mostly used. The grade 800 is a Nickel-Iron-Chromium alloy that happens to have good resistance to corrosion, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and seawater. There is a mixture of nickel and cobalt at 46%, Chromium at 23.5%, Copper at 3.00%, Iron at 22%, and some other useful materials. The Tensile Strength of Incoloy 800 as a sheet, plate, or bar would be Tensile Strength of 100 ksi and 689 MPa, Yield Strength of 55 ksi, and 379 MPa with elongation of 39%.

Similar to pipes in purpose and somewhat in appearance Tubes are available in different shapes like square, rectangle, oval, or sometimes triangle, tubes of each shape come in different sizes right from diameter to length. Tubes are also generally circle but in the USA it is mostly called tube and not a pipe. Tubes are made up of several different metals like stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy, aluminium, Monel, Hastelloy, etc. the tubes made of Incoloy 800 are of course very good in performance and even in durability. Tubes of certain grades of SS are suitable for Heat Treatment and are also weldable. The tubes are made for several purposes, they can be used for many things and many industries. The Incoloy 800 tubes are cost-effective, they do not cost much for maintenance. The presence of nickel in this alloy grade makes it very much resistant to corrosion and pitting. The cobalt is also present in the alloy attributing to the strengths. 

Applications of 800 Tubes

Just as Incoloy 800 alloy itself the tube also finds its application in many industries. The chemical and gas industries use tubes and pipes a lot for conveying the crude material from one place to another, even the vessels used for storing the materials are made up of Incoloy 800. The petrochemical industry also relies on Incoloy 800 for operation. The tubes are also used in buildings and houses for running fresh water. The construction sites also use these tubes for smooth performance. The transport industries use these tubes in their industries as well as in their products, the tubes are installed in vehicles because they can withstand pressure and temperature.
