Many people are aware of the basic signs of toxic narcissism, but what about the covert narcissist? And what if you're codependent?
Also known as closet narcissism, hypersensitive narcissism and vulnerable narcissism, covert narcissism is sneaky and much harder to detect. And the emotional abuse can be incredibly toxic for an empath.
The Gaslighting is more subtle, the devalue and discard phases are less obvious and often the covert narcissist's victims find themselves doing their best to change to make the narc happy.
