It is a great time to look for a new boat for sale. Manufacturers are working hard to bring down the price and/or help with the financing to give you a lower rate or 0% interest rate that can bring down the costs dramatically.
The boat shows are the best place to start, even if you are looking for a luxury motor yacht, mega motor yacht, or just a motorboat for sale. Manufacturers want to move their yachts, and the interior designs vary greatly, along with the options and amenities.
Walking down the docks of an in-water boat show, lets you see almost an endless array of styles and lengths. You have trawlers, sportfish, motor yachts, sedan cruisers, day cruisers, weekend cruisers to wet your appetite. They come equipped with diesel, gas, and now some electric powered engines with dozens of horse powers to choice from, depending on the size yacht you're looking at.
It is amazing to step aboard a new boat for sale and find so many different interiors and styles even in the same footage range. Some boats have a larger cockpit area than an interior....this can be because of the boats main use such as fishing or entertaining. This is all outside, where luxury yachts or mega yachts show off their stuff on the inside like wet bars, entertainment centers, theater rooms, saunas, steam rooms, even exercise rooms!
But there are pocket cruisers that have a good balance of room between the cockpit area and interior space. They can come in lengths from around 24' with manufacturers like Sea Ray, Bayliner, Four Winns, Chaparral, Maxum, Formula, Grady White, Seaswirl, Cruisers, Doral, plus many others, to 30, 40, 50, footers and higher. It all depends on what you are looking for in a boat. At a boat show you also get to meet the brokers and dealers representing the manufacturers. They have all the information you would want plus you can arrange for a demo ride....sometimes right at the boat show! Check out the boats you like and get the feel of them. Check the different options that are on there and the ones you can get. The warrantees they give are pretty extensive and I find the boat manufacturers are looking out for you.
