Foo Fighters – Times Like These

The Foo Fighters' second single off their album, One By One, is a very well known song. At the beginning of the song, you'll hear the lyrics, “I’m a new day rising.” This is in reference to New Day Rising by one of Grohl’s favourite bands, Hüsker Dü (Grohl was the longest serving drummer for the band, Nirvana - he then went on to become the founder, frontman, lead vocalist, rhythm/lead guitarist, and primary songwriter of the rock band Foo Fighters).
