Activate the printer to begin HP Printer Installation. Disconnect the printer's USB cable if necessary. If the cable connection is needed, you are prompted to do so. Get started by going to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads. Choose Printer if a page is asking you to identify your product.
Click "Submit" after you have entered your printer's model number. If required, click Change to select a different operating system. Then press Change after choosing your version. Available for download and installation for your product is the HP-recommended driver or software.
