I've always adhered to the rule that states if you don't vote, you can't bitch. And yet, some of the people complaining the loudest nowadays about the state of our country, with Justin Trudeau at the helm, didn't cast a ballot, citing the lack of an effective honest candidate to vote for. And then there are the naysayers who voted, but most definitely not for him, who want to roast him over the coals for his lack of progress after his four short months in office.
I think we should all step back, whether we voted for Trudeau and his policies or not, and give the man a chance to prove himself. He either does what he promised to do, or he doesn't - and I, for one, sincerely hope he does, whether I agree with his plans for this country or not. Our Canada, the true north strong and free, is still looking pretty good, even with some of the dishonest, ineffectual leaders we have endured. Imagine what we might look like with one who lives up to his word and gets stuff done.
