The sky no longer like a rainbow, now suddenly grey.
Please tell me you didn’t go away.
I know they sometimes say youth is a strong force, but the mind is stronger.
Imagination made everything easier.
Come out of the closet, the dragon is no longer here.
Prince charming slayed it years ago.
Just like him, I feel you’re no longer near.
Growing up is destroying who I was.
Its unfair like a poisonous apple betraying a beautiful princess and making small men mad.
Right when I thought you were gone, you reappear when Ariel sings a special song.
Remind me what living really is, what love really means.
How pixie dust could make problems gleam.
I feel as though I’ve forgotten how to think.
I should have never closed my eyes.
I shouldn’t have even blinked.
Remind me what its like to truly dream.
Remind me how Cinderella’s dress was made down to the very last seam.
Reality has tried to put me into a deep sleep.
The town is now kept quiet, but I still feel as if my heart cant keep its own beat.
