You ask me if i'm ready to go
I say yes but my mind says no
I get on the stretcher
To basically go nowhere
Take a deep breath
It'll all be over soon
Breathe in close your eyes
Listen to the music in your head
The mask freaks me out
Suffocating me
I’m scared to see
How this will end
We get the OR
I turn the volume louder
When they put the mask over my face
I try to drift to my happy place
The last thought I have before I fall asleep Is don't leave me I need you with me
Every OR is different but yet all the same
I wish I could stop playing this stupid
