How did we get here? Where did we come from? Those and other similar questions are part of life’s great mystery.
We evolved and we became.
From what? From where? These may or may not be answers to questions which we seek or don’t.

MY PERSONAL JOURNEY WITH GAIA
Belonging in the Pagan Faith, Gaia has always been the pinnacle of Existence for me. Invocation. Worship. Reverence. Give much Thanks and Gratitude.
When I write of Her, I always capitalize. Her, She, Mother Gaia. Mother Nature. Earth Mother. The Mother. My own personal adoration and devotion to Her are limitless. Paganism being an earth/nature-based homage, the foundation of the philosophy views everything of the natural world as sacred. We take care of Mother Earth, She takes care of us.

A MEDITATION WITH THE GODDESS GAIA
Sitting on the Earth would be most ideal for this meditation, but as we are working with Her Spirit, find any comfortable sitting position and begin to slow your breath.
Bring your awareness gently into your hips and let all the energies of the day go. Focusing on your pelvic bowl, allow your breath to expand all the way down into your abdomen. Bring anything which causes discomfort or distress to this area now.
See beneath you the Earth, opening to greet you, and a purple and gold spiral of light beginning to glow at your perineum. This light spirals into the Earth, ushering you into Her most sacred center.
Feel yourself gently drifting to the center of the Earth, into Her cosmic womb of creation. You will feel a natural resting place and appreciate the serene calmness around you. Sit in this quiet and be with the calm energy she offers.
While there, feel all of your discomfort and distress leave your body. Bury it into the Ground where you sit. Leave everything which causes you negativity, behind in this space.
If you wish, ask for a figure of Gaia. You may see Her as a woman, a Goddess, a color or a symbol. Whatever arises is perfect for you and offers a meaningful tool to deepen your relationship with Her. You may utilize this symbol in future instances of stress, agitation, and anxiety.
When you feel finished, thank Her and allow your attention to come back into your body. Open your eyes slowly and celebrate your newfound connection. Take this everywhere with you through all of your days and routines.
CARRY THE GODDESS GAIA WITHIN YOU ALWAYS.
