It Feels Good to Be Alive

I don’t know what brought me here,
Maybe my pain inside.
But today seems different, maybe I’ve missed it.
I’ll set these thoughts aside.
I feel my soul’s grown cold,
Nostalgia sweeps on in.
What I’m concealing, this unnerving feeling
Brings it back again.
So I long for the day
Where troubles fade,
And I can come to life

It’s a blinding contrast; escaping my past

There’s a warmth that fills my soul

I feel alive again.
So thank God for the day
He has made.
