As we bypass each other, our shadows touch but we do not.
Memories transverse throughout my mind.
As the clock moves we sit still.
Our silence is louder than the words we once spoke.
I miss that smile that rose to the morning sun.
Your eyes sparkled as I told my silly jokes.
But now we're silenced.
It's hard to say goodbye without a voice,
We pushed apart.
And our world's clash
But we both know this wasn't supposed to happen.
Once was a vision is now a blur.
And once was a voice is now silence.
