Every day as a heavy equipment operator is different, especially if you operate more than one type of machinery. For example, one day you could be operating an excavator, digging basements for new homes, and the next day you could be operating a telehandler and lifting up roofing materials to a roofing crew. The days vary with the jobs, and you’ll be challenged mentally almost as much as physically.
