The moon is dark,
The wind is stout,
Darkness looms,
All about.
Ghosts and goblins,
Witches to,
Gently stirring witches brew.
In the distance,
Howls galore,
Like I've never heard before!
I go outside to take a peek,
And suddenly my knees go weak.
I turn to look around and find,
Dracula, not far behind.
I start to run, can't feel my feet,
As I collapse upon the street.
I hear laughter all around,
And then I see, a wee small clown.
He looked at me with puzzled eyes,
And I found out to my surprise,
Trick or treater's on my street,
They only wanted,
Something sweet!
Not witches, ghosts or scary things,
Just the candy this night brings!,
