Applications of Stainless Steel 321 Bolts
DC Engineering produces stainless steel 321 fasteners to DIN, ASME, ASTM, and ISO specifications, including bolts, nuts, hex heads, threaded bars, and studbolts. Hex head bolts, U bolts, square bolts, heavy hex bolts, T bolts, and tap bolts in sizes ranging from M6 to M100 are all produced in house from certified Stainless Steel 321 (ASTM A193 Grade B8T).
Bolts made from grade 321H stainless steel have superior corrosion protection. High levels of chromium and nickel allow them to withstand corrosion even when subjected to moisture or corrosive substances like salt water. They are therefore well suited for use in marine settings or wherever a high level of corrosion protection is required. These bolts are not readily broken or deformed by heavy loads because of their high tensile strength and flexibility.
Strength of Stainless Steel 321 Bolts
The strength and longevity of fasteners made to ASTM A193 SS 321 standards are well-documented. They are built to last for a long time without breaking or exhibiting signs of wear and tear thanks to the high-quality materials and cutting-edge manufacturing processes they employ. Their resistance to corrosion means they won't corrode or weather and become less useful over time like some metals. They also are not easily damaged by harsh environments, unlike other materials that would crack or corrode under similar circumstances.
