HE did that for me

Not my will but thine.
Blood dropped from the very pores of His body. Already betrayed by one of His own.
The time has come.
An everlasting love betrayed by a single kiss.
Arrested
Led to judgement.
No sins committed.
Silent when accused. Always knowing what He had to do.
The lashes snapped across His body.
Ripping skin and muscle down to the bone.
Blood pouring from His wounds.
Lash after lash Snapped across His flesh.
A humble man.
Fully man but God Himself. Creator of the universe.

My Redeemer
By grace
His crown
THORNS
His love
Rejected
His voice
NOT HEARD
My suffering
My torment
He took upon Himself.
He stumbled on that path... as He carried the price of my sins....
The CROSS
Upon His shoulders He bore my sorrows.
To the hill He carried my Punishment.
Laying His life upon that CROSS.
Nails driven into His hands. His feet nailed to that tree for ME.
Hanging between Heaven and Hell For the world to see.
To see for me
Father, forgive them.
He interceeded for me.
They know not what they do.
Each drop of blood He shed...
He shed for me.
It is finished He proclaimed. His life He gave for me...
As He hung upon that tree.
His grace
His love transcends so far beyond all human comprehension.
He did that for me.

Jesus My Savior
My Redeemer
My Friend
