Applications Of Inconel 625 Bolts and Nuts
Inconel 625 fasteners are made from a nickel-chromium alloy with superior resistance to heat, strength, and corrosion. These fasteners, such as UNS N06625 bolts, are used in cryogenic applications at temperatures as high as one thousand degrees Celsius. The material is also resistant to oxidation. Hex Bolts made of Nickel Alloy 625 are utilized in severe environments and for high performance.
Strength Of UNS N06625 Bolts
There are numerous varieties of hex bolts, socket cap screws, hex nuts, washers, threaded rods, studs, and U-bolts. Nickel, chromium, molybdenum, manganese, titanium, silicon, sulfur, cobalt, phosphorus, carbon, iron, and aluminum are present in Inconel 625 stud fasteners, along with niobium and tantalum for stabilization. Inconel 625 fasteners and nuts are exceptionally strong. The minimum yield strength is 460MPa, the minimum tensile strength is 880MPa, and the increase at failure is 50 percent.
