My professional voyage began after completing my Hotel Management studies at the esteemed Hospitality School in Zurich, Switzerland. The rigorous training and diverse experiences there set the foundation for my career. I soon found myself at the heart of culinary excellence, working at the prestigious 3 Michelin Star Restaurant Fischerzunft in Schaffhausen. This experience was crucial in shaping my understanding of service perfection and culinary artistry.
Expanding Horizons
The journey didn’t stop in Switzerland. I brought my expertise to Brisbane, where I immersed myself in the city’s dynamic hospitality scene. I had the privilege of being part of some of Brisbane’s finest establishments and later became the proud owner of Mariosarti Restaurant in Toowong. For over five years, Mariosarti was not just a restaurant; it was a manifestation of my vision for Italian cuisine in Australia, blending traditional methods with modern twists.
Innovating Experiences
My tenure at Mariosarti was just one of my career milestones. Perhaps one of my most innovative projects was the development of the first fine dining concept on the Wheel of Brisbane. This venture was not just about serving exquisite meals but creating unforgettable experiences that rotate with panoramic views of the city skyline. The idea was to combine the art of fine dining with the thrill of an evolving view, making each meal a unique journey.
