World Tourism Day: Devmali village in Rajasthan's Beawar district has been named India's best tourism village. The central government will present an award to this village at a ceremony in Delhi on November 27. What makes this village unique is that no one consumes meat, fish, or alcohol here. Additionally, burning neem wood and using kerosene are also prohibited.
Devmali is home to the famous temple of Lord Devanarayan, which attracts millions of devotees every year, as reported by IANS. Nestled in the Aravalli hills, the village falls under the Masuda subdivision and spans approximately 3,000 bighas. Named after Lord Devanarayan, the village's rich culture and natural beauty make it a distinctive tourist destination.
