underdogs
plot
Set in rural Ohio, the birthplace of football, a small-town high school football team rises to play their cross-town rival, a perennial powerhouse, while standing up for an entire community.
What lessons did you learn from this story (theme/moral)? What do you think others will learn from it?
A team can become what perfectly seems like a real family if the right pieces just happen to fall in place. A coach can become more then just a coach and becomes something like a friend, neighbor, teacher, role model, hero and in some case’s like a father to not just one or two but to the whole team of players. A simple group of small time players can be inspiring to not each of them and the members of their family but also their whole community. David can beat goliath when he or she desires to do just that.
