Signs of child drug addiction: How to know if your kid / teenager is getting addicted to drugs?

Do you suspect that your child is abusing alcohol or using drugs? Are you worried? Have you noticed some changes with your child?

It’s frightening to imagine that your child, already growing up so quickly, might be using drugs or drinking. However, drug abuse in teenagers is a very real problem.

Since mood swings and unpredictable behavior are frequent occurrences for preteens and teenagers, parents may find it difficult to spot signs of drug abuse. But if your child starts to exhibit one or more of these signs (which apply equally to sons and daughters) drug abuse may be at the heart of the problem:
