When you work in the interior design industry, especially in the premium segment, it is important not just to show the result, but to tell a whole story, to evoke emotion, to create an atmosphere that you want to live through. This is exactly the effect produced by a video shot during the restoration of one of the historic villas on the picturesque Lake Como. At some point in the project, I realized that "before and after" photos no longer work as they used to. I wanted something more - something that would immerse the viewer in the process, make them feel the energy of change. Then I turned to the video production company in Italy ORBIS, and this decision became a turning point.
The filming process: from chaos to harmony
The ORBIS team approached the matter not just professionally — they literally lived this project with us. Filming began at the preparation stage, when the villa was in a deplorable state. They documented every stage of the transformation: from dismantling the old moldings and replacing utilities to painting the walls and the final decor. The use of timelapses allowed us to show the dynamics of the changes, and smooth transitions and competent work with the camera gave the video visual smoothness.
The videographers focused not only on the global stages, but also on the little things that shape the overall perception of the interior: the shine of a polished brass handle, the light refracted in stained glass, the shadows playing on the surface of antique furniture. Thanks to this, the video turned out to be lively, rich in detail and truly atmospheric.
Interview as an emotional basis
I was particularly impressed by how ORBIS integrated the interviews into the storyline. We talked about inspiration, the sources of aesthetic solutions, the difficulties and joys of the journey. These fragments organically wove into the overall editing, making the video not just a technical report, but a real mini-film. The interviews gave the project a personal touch and helped the viewer feel that behind each design find there is a specific solution, experience, and story.
Professional editing and color correction
The post-production deserves special attention. The final color correction gave the video a refined and cinematic quality, emphasizing the character of the space, its light and texture. The musical accompaniment was selected with special sensitivity - it enhanced the dramaturgy and immersion in the atmosphere. Thanks to the editing, the video turned out dynamic, but at the same time not losing depth.
The result speaks for itself
Since the video was published, I have received dozens of messages from potential clients. Many wrote that they were amazed by the level of work and aesthetics. Someone even admitted that it was the video that convinced them to contact me for a project. This is not just advertising - it is a demonstration of the approach, taste and attitude to detail. The investment has paid off many times over, and, without exaggeration, this was the best investment in promotion over the past year.
Video as part of brand and strategy
Today I am sure: in a world where visual perception plays a key role, high-quality video is becoming not just an additional element of marketing, but a full-fledged tool for building reputation and trust. ORBIS helped me not just show my work, but convey the emotion and philosophy of my brand. Video has become a business card that you want to watch again and share. And this is priceless.
