1.4980 Stainless Steel Fasteners
Chromium and nickel are the principal components of the stainless steel alloy known as 1.4980. The composition of 1.4980 stainless steel gives it good mechanical and fatigue properties, making it an excellent choice for fasteners. To increase the hardness of the alloy, heat treatment is frequently applied.
1.4980 bolts also come with additional exceptional mechanical features, such as good machinability, higher resistance to corrosion at increasing temperatures, and strong oxidation resistance. These properties are all in addition to the fact that they are quite durable. Stud bolts with the specification M36 1.4980 are non-magnetic and also have a high degree of ductility. Due to the adaptability of the alloy, it can be used for a variety of applications, ranging from industrial gas turbines to aerospace gas turbines. These are the most effective components to employ in environments with both high temperature and pressure.
