WASHINGTON – Gilbane Building Co. has hired Commercial Window Shield has hired Commercial Window Shield for a privacy/decorative film installation project in the nation’s capital.
The project, at 1700 K St., involves installing custom gradient film on all office and conference room glass on the building’s 8th floor. The gradient film fades from clear to frosted on the glass, adding an attractive design element along with privacy.
Gilbane, one of the country’s premier construction companies, is renovating the space for client Wells Fargo, the nation’s 4th largest bank. The project will begin later in summer. As always, Commercial Window Shield will work closely with other contractors to coordinate schedules.
The company has worked with Gilbane on other window film installation projects. In addition to Gilbane, Commercial Window Shield has worked with many of the country’s top general contractors over the years, including DAVIS, HITT, Rand Construction, DPR Construction, Harvey-Cleary and May Construction.
