Karwa Chauth
During Karwa Chauth, women primarily celebrate. Traditionally, it occurs during the full moon in October or November, when Kartik falls in the Hindu calendar. Fasts are observed by women on this day in order to pray for the health, happiness, and well-being of their husbands. Following the moonrise, women indulge in a delicious feast once the fast is broken.
