In a small town
There were two women
Each equally beautiful as the other.
One with unmarked olive skin and long hair as black as a raven's feathers that framed her face and her intense dark eyes.
The other had skin the color of porcelain and golden blonde hair they reached to her shoulders and eyes as gray and dark as a storm cloud.
But one day both woman claimed the same thing they were the smarter than the other.
When they met in the middle of the town they argued screeching so loud some said their voices would reach to the heavens
When a firm voice shouted"stop!"
They both closed their mouths and turned to see
Ragen the mayor of this town.
Others claimed that she was the most beautiful
and wisest woman in the entire town.
"What is the issue here?" Here glare the fact that she was not going to back off till she got an answer.
"She is saying she is smarter than me!"
The raven haired woman pointed to the other.
"She is doing the same to me!"
The blonde screeched they began to argue again.
"Enough!" The mayor shouted.
She turned to a man by the name of Nate Flenn.
"Nate?" "Yes?" He replied nervously.
"Go to Thomas's store and get a scale."
He nodded and ran off.
People began to whisper wondering what who they considered was the wisest woman in the town was up to.
When Nate returned scale in hand Ragen took it.
"Each of you will have your head weighed , whoever's head is heavier is the smartest."
So she had both woman lie down putting their heads on the scale.
When they were done Reagan spoke."Your weight was exactly the same which is what I expected."
Both women looked at her in confusion.
"You two thought the same thing that you were smarter than the other and it was okay to act childish."
The exchanged a quick glance at each other.
"Haven't you heard the term great minds think alike ?"
She spoke with a smile before turning around and sauntering off down the street.
