Globe's greatest producer of Cryptocurrency mining rigs, Bitmain, launched the latest liquid cooling mining rig, claiming to be the most efficient. Recently, Intel shared technical details for its first-gen BMZ1 (Bonanza Mine) blockchain accelerator chip, which it recently took orders for.
Cryptocurrency mining is a process of mining blocks of crypto assets. This process usually takes a lot of power and is not considered eco-friendly.
The latest Antminer S19 XP Hyd boasts 255 TH/s of computing energy at 20.8 joules per terahash of power efficiency, operating on 5304 watts, as per the website of Bitmain. Its power efficiency closely surpasses Bitmain's former best, the Antminer S19 XP, and contender MicroBit's Whatsminer M30S++, which provides 112 Terahash per second at an efficient rate of 31 J/TH.
Hydro Cooling rigs are modified to be utilized in Bitmain's self containers. Cooling liquid is utilizing liquid-like coolant travelling through pipes to emancipate heat to keep the device cool.
The organization also declared the latest container, titled ANTSPACE HK3, which can contain 210 machines and eat up 1 MW of energy. In January, Bitmain announced Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd., its initial rig containing liquid cooling, delivering up to 198 Terahash at 27.5 J/T.
Antminer S19 XP Hyd: the most efficient for mining cryptocurrencies
The Chinese company Bitmain is known for its products to extract digital currencies, especially the popular Bitcoins. And a few days ago, the brand announced the launch of its new Antminer S19 XP Hyd, which promises to be the most powerful and efficient cryptocurrency mining machine globally.
One of the main distinguishing factors of this new card is the bet on a liquid cooling system. These well-known liquid cooling promises to limit the energy expenditure necessary for the crypto active extraction process.
According to Bitmain, the antminer s19 xp hyd offers a computing power of 255 TH/S (terahash per second), almost doubles the 140 TH/s of the previous model, S19 XP, and consumes 20.8 joules for each terahash processed. The machine consumes a total of 5,304 watts. Bitmain's new Antminer ASIC is crowned the most powerful in Bitcoin mining.
Key facts:
- The S19 XP Hyd has lower power consumption than its closest competitor, the S19 Pro+ Hyd.
- The new Antminer will arrive at the hands of its buyers in early 2023.
The manufacturer of ASIC equipment for Bitcoin mining, Bitmain, announced a few hours ago the official launch of the Antminer S19 XP Hyd.
Microbt Launches 2 New State-of-the-Art Bitcoin Mining Rigs
Bitcoin miners are getting more advanced as the latest machines revealed by Bitmain and Microbt indicates that next-generation mining rigs have serious hash power. Bitcoin.com News has previously reported on upcoming Bitmain miners offering hashrate speeds of up to 255 TH/s.
The first was the Antminer S19 XP revealed in November 2021, which boasts a hashrate of 140 TH/s, and the second was the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd. Additionally, Bitmain revealed another hydro ASIC unit called antminer s19 xp hyd. 255th/s, which produces a whopping 255 TH/s, according to the company.
