When we have somebody else who is not related to whatever it is that we are working on come in and read the sales copy, we are allowing somebody who has not been tainted by the process of creating the sales copy to give us unfiltered feedback.
Some of your friends may be confused by what they are reading. Do not take this as an insult, but rather, as an indication that you may have to go back and clarify some of the things that you say. Try to take all of the feedback that you're given by your friends seriously. Do not dismiss anything that they tell you, but instead, it to your advantage to create a more compelling website.
