Classifications of SS made Floor Drains
- Lower flap eccentric block type floor drain: A lead block is inserted, a pin secures one side, and a sealing gasket is employed. To seal, the gravitational eccentricity principle is employed. Initially, this construction was horizontal. Vertical and vertical with water seals was the development of it afterward. The water pressure causes the gasket to open while draining. After the drainage is finished, the gasket is sealed by the lead block's gravity.
- Rubber floor drain: A silica gel bag with an open bottom or two thin silica gel pieces works well for sealing. Water gushes away the silica gel's bottom during drainage. In order to achieve the odor-prevention effect, the silica gel's bottom will automatically fit after drainage thanks to elastic force.
- Gravity-based floor drain: There is no need for a water seal, spring, magnet, or other external forces. The cover plate can only be opened and closed by maintaining a balance between the gravity of the water flow and the floating ball inside. With the exception of the fact that the elastic force is transformed into buoyancy to drive the mechanical tension, this mode is comparable to the spring type.
- Floor drain with a spring mechanism: Seal by using a spring to extend the gasket at the lower end of the sealing core. The sealing pad is pushed upward by the spring to close the pipe when there is no or very little water in the floor drain. The spring is pressed downward by the water when the water in the local leakage reaches a specific height and the gravity of the water exceeds the spring force. The water is then automatically drained after the gasket is opened.
- Magnet-style floor drain: This floor drain's construction is comparable to that of a spring type. Use two magnets' combined magnetic fields to draw the sealing gasket into place. The sealing gasket will open downward for drainage when the water pressure exceeds the magnetic force. The drainage will also be finished. The magnet block is drawn to it when the water pressure drops and becomes less powerful than the magnetic force. Additionally, the sealing gasket is raised.
