Each obstacle she’s been dealt with has been slain like a fierce dragon throwing fire. Her actions of bravery shine in situations of high anxiety. She is a strong woman and her face shows it. Her actions show it. Her being shows it.
In front of the public eye, she is composed and grounded. This strong woman has literally gone through hell and back. Many times, she had to be the captain of the ship whether or not she wanted to do it. Through necessity her mental strength grew. This strong woman would do anything to keep it afloat.
However, with each dilemma a piece of her heart is torn. Little by little the tears in her heart cannot be sewn back. Bravery comes with a price. The mental tranquility becomes polluted by stress, anger, and anguish. In front of a mirror her reflection captures a tear, and then another, and another. Until her cheeks are a full stream of tears. This is the pain she has hidden in order to be brave. This is the cost of having to survive every day.
Even the strongest woman’s soul cannot handle it all. Even a strong woman cries.
