“Likes” but not Love
You click on their “selfies”
You watch their live streams
You choose a smile, a cry or a laugh to acknowledge their whimsical posts
You “follow” them on one site
You subscribe to another
You promote their page so they can get higher numbers than most
You help some go viral for a minute
You encourage others to give them views
You spend countless hours commenting on opinions of strangers and friends
You share what you find interesting
You mark angry what you find offensive
And this repeats daily in a cycle that never seems to end
But do you really truly care about any of this
Is your heart in the right place
Do you believe a thumbs up on a webpage is what God died on the cross for
Is this what He considers following His commandments
Is this what He meant by NOT conforming to the ways of the world
Is this what will bring nonbelievers into the house of the Lord
In my opinion we are Satans puppets
We are simply being pulled by a string
The internet is the apple from the tree that the serpent hung from up above
We’ve become self-centered, self indulged and just plain selfish
Our words do more damage than good
We have become a nation that cares more about “Likes” but Not Love.
