How to Start a Google Classroom for Your Students
Here’s a simple step-by-step guide on how to create a Google Classroom:
Step 1: Sign in to Google Classroom
- Go to Google Classroom.
- Click “Go to Classroom” and sign in with your Google account (preferably a school or G Suite for Education account).
Step 2: Create a New Class
- On the Google Classroom homepage, click the “+” icon in the top right.
- Select “Create class” (If you’re using a personal Google account, you must check the box confirming it's for personal use).
- Enter the Class Name (e.g., “7th Grade English”).
- (Optional) Add details like Section, Subject, and Room.
- Click “Create”.
