As i gaze out upon the pitch black Abyss. Dancing in circles with the tails I shall twist. A never finer story to be told. Dies with each Acquaintance of old. She sang for me upon that ledge. Where the face hangs on the bluff I'd pledge. The drums Echoed across the rivers bend. It shall pick back up long after memories end. Riches the earth did give. With stories pressed from long forgotten years. left for the most deserving you will not waist. broken tears shall fill your dreams. may you never hear my screams Though I found Solace in her ghostly trail. blades sharpened will pierce my soul. Each ounce stained with greed and blood. buried where it should bee. always covered with every flood. Where the frogs will sing at sight. An ancient lights use to light the night. the stories are still told buy the rocks. hidden far from sight and mind. the path is no more, half way threw. where the earth has become agin new. Her presence will always linger in my place. But she stays quiet with a stone face. A place where you can see both rivers. One dirty and mucky The other with a smile. If you look upon the setting sun. It will tell you that you just begun. where she sang for me upon the ledge.
you can gracefully drink from her cold hands. the water is pure and clean. caution to where you stand cause your spot could be turning like a hour glass. If you listen closely the trees will speak to you about my past. Where the eagle that once stood proudly at full staff And If you should grow tired sit on my throne. For what many have looked for, its now gone. It was more then anyone should bare. I kept to my word with hand fulls I shared for the ones who still cared. And soon you will see For time will tell you how this story came to be.
Hand and hand up the hill we ran
Where our earthly story first began
We had a destane from the moment our eyes met
That my soul would never forget.
To the end of my days it was the price I paid
Now our souls are together for all the days
We sit upon that ledge where we we first met
Taking the beautiful images in as the sun sets
I spent many knights out here calling your name knowing the hurt of real pain.
Land so open you can turn on a dime
And see something new for the first time
I've called for rain to cover up these tears
Thinking I'd never se you again my worst fears
So here we are among the spirits
Together where our souls are content
With you eternity is where I'll spend
We will sour from fountain bluff to buttermilk
Catch the south wind over to pine then flat rock
And stop to shead tears on the tears trail
Cause our souls now meet like the mighty Mississippi river and the ohio River fills.
