Uses stainless steel flanges
A flange is a strength-enhancing external or internal ridge or border (lip). Split flanges made of stainless steel can be used as an attachment to another object, such as a stainless steel screwed flange affixed to the end of a pipe, steam cylinder, etc. With stainless steel slip-on pipe flanges, pipes can be quickly assembled and disassembled.
The socket weld flanges of stainless steel are readily accessible for inspection, washing, or replacement. Flanges made of Ansi 150 stainless steel are typically round. However, square and rectangular slip-on flanges can also be manufactured and customized from stainless steel. As they are bolted together, stainless steel psi flanges are connected to one another. Next, stainless steel stub end flanges are either welded or threaded onto the piping system. Specific pressure ratings are incorporated into the design of gaskets for stainless steel flanges. These are the pressure ratings: 150 lb, 300 lb, 400 lb, 600 lb, 900 lb, 1500 lb, and 2500 lb.
Pipe flanges made of stainless steel can be used to cover or close the extremity of a pipe. It is known as a blind flange. Consequently, stainless steel tube flanges are regarded as an integral element of internal components that can be used to support mechanical parts or various systems.
