word search or word games are a group of games that test your vocabulary and language skills. Some of these puzzles can be done by one person, while others need two or more people. One of the most popular word games is Scrabble, which can be played by two to four people.
Several academic studies have been done to find out how doing word puzzles affects a person's health and happiness. One study from the University of Exeter and King's College London found that adults over 50 who do word puzzles like crosswords on a regular basis have better brain function than those who don't. In this study, there were more than 19,000 people who took part. They had to fill out a survey about how often they do word puzzles and take a series of tests that checked their understanding of grammar, attention, and memory.
On the other hand, a study from Tanjungpura University in 2018 looked at how WordSearch can help a tenth grader learn new words. Thirty-one students were asked to take a pre-test and a post-test in the form of an essay. Before the post-test, they were given Word Search Puzzles to do.
When the researcher compared the average scores of the two tests, he or she found that the student did much better on the second test. This shows that word puzzles can help people learn new words.
These are just a few of the many scientific studies that show how word puzzles can help our bodies and minds.
