One of the smallest fluid resistances of all nickel valves, the pure nickel ball valve has a low flow resistance. The fluid resistance is very low, even for a decreased diameter ball valve.
CORROSION RESISTANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF NICKEL BALL VALVES
- The hand ball valve has good sealing performance. The pure nickel ball valve seat (seal ring) is generally made of an elastic material such as Teflon, which is easy to ensure the seal, and the sealing force of the ball valve increases as the medium pressure increases.
- The hand operated valve stem seal is reliable. When the ball valve is opened and closed, the valve stem only rotates by 90°, so the packing seal of the valve stem is not easily damaged, and the sealing force of the valve stem inverted seal increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
- The opening and closing of the pure nickel ball valve only makes 90° rotation, so it is easy to realize automatic control and remote control.
- Whether the pure nickel ball valve can resist the corrosion of the working environment medium, the key lies in the chemical stability of the “passive oxide film” on the surface in the corrosive medium.
