breath exercises for asthma is much more than the expansion and contraction of the lungs. My attempt here is to remark on my observations about breathing, especially from the viewpoint of improving the human condition by altering how we live.
How you think, you become, and how you breathe is the way you think. Thinking affects breathing, and changing how you live can change how you feel. Without breathing very profoundly, it is not possible to have profundity. Your brain gets well-oxygenated only when you breathe deeply. Many breathing techniques are available, and anyone can be used at their convenience. The basic principle remains the same and can be understood very easily.
The movement of the mind is nothing but thoughts arising and subsiding. Breathing is very much associated with thoughts arising and subsiding. If you can suspend breathing, you can suspend beliefs as well. Similarly, if you make your breath slower, your thoughts become less, and you relax. It is behind all the movements, but the direction of the lungs can be controlled by practice; therefore, by controlling the movement by the lung training for musicians, you control the movement of life force, and when you become adept at doing that, you may direct the life force to any organ of the body as per the requirement, thereby, being capable of healing yourself and being immune to diseases.
If you read something or watch something intriguing, you have to pay attention; without holding your breath, you cannot; therefore, whether you know it or not, you hold your breath every time you pay attention. If you want to test its integrity, practice deep breathing for a few days; it will not be long before you start quickly comprehending very long sentences. Your attention span is very obviously associated with your breathing. Besides improving your attention span, deep breathing trainer is bound to increase your retention because your brain gets more oxygenated.
Most of us are not very motivated to improve brain functioning or attention span, or physique, but almost all of us, one way or another, keep on trying this or that to feel better. Everything we do, from weeds to meditation, socializing to seclusion, is guided by our feelings.
We can attain betterment of feelings, if not enlightenment, by being aware of breathing exercise device. Categorically, paying attention to inhalation and exhalation is slightly different from the techniques in which you try to alter how you breathe; first, you observe how you live ( though that also limits the breathing), and second, you try to change the way you breathe.
