2) You need to be able to draw more or less normally by hand. If drawing is not your thing, then you should not even try to enter this profession.

3) One must have a keen eye for detail, like rust on a car or a chip on a rock, which makes it feel realistic. These details should be seen in real life and transferred into the project.

This profession is suitable for plodding people who are ready to spend hours parsing how this or that program works. 3d-modeling requires great attention to detail, scrupulousness and even some pedantry.

Many believe that modeling - this is the destiny of artists and designers. In practice, many successful modelers do not have an art education. Moreover, they are self-taught, and there is plenty of information on the Internet.
