Roxanne James is a clinical psychologist with 10 years experience practicing in the Plumstead area.
She has published various articles and contributed a chapter to the Sage Encyclopedia of Psychiatry.
She is a member of and the Central Administrator of the African College of Neuropsychopharmacology and is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as well as the Board of Healthcare Funders.
She assess, diagnose and treat various forms of psychological distress or impairment, including mood and anxiety related disorders.
She provides short, medium and long term therapeutic interventions as well as couples therapy and family therapy.
She works with children, adolescents and adults.
Her therapeutic modalities include psychodynamic intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy, depending on what is indicated by each individual case.
