Helpful Kitchen Cleaning Hacks | Futura Kitchen Sinks
In several cultures, a clean kitchen is a must. This is especially true for Indian households.
With our busy schedules, keeping up with kitchen cleaning and maintenance can seem like a difficult task. Your kitchen experiences a lot in a week between spills from normal use and cooking messes, dirty dishes, and culinary clutters. In addition to being where you prepare your meals, it is probably one of the most frequently used rooms in the house, making routine cleaning even more essential. Cleaning every surface in your kitchen on a regular basis can be difficult, especially if you're pressed for time, whether it's a coffee-stained counter or a burner covered in sauce. You can degrease, deodorise, and sterilise your kitchen in less time by using these helpful cleaning tips. Try these suggestions to mix up your usual cleaning schedule and keep your kitchen spotless.
TIPS:
Fresh smelling garbage disposal.
Few things are as repulsive as an unpleasant garbage disposal. Use one of our favourite cleaning tips for the kitchen sink to fix that: lemon ice cubes. Simply add rock salt, water, and lemon slices to an ice cube tray to make them. Once frozen, run your garbage disposal until all of the ice is gone after dropping the cubes down the drain. Ice helps remove any filth and grime as rock salt cleanses the blades. The lemon keeps the smell of your sink fresh.
Keep your oven clean.
Instead of using the auto-clean function, which often triggers the fire alarm due to its high-temperature oven setting, and can also make your kitchen smell bad, dispense a DIY solution composed of 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/3 cup white vinegar, and 1/2 cup water in a spray bottle. Remove the grates once the oven has cooled, then spray the interior with the solution, being careful to keep the heating elements out of the mix. For up to 12 hours, shut the door and go to sleep while the solution does its magic. Clean the oven with soapy water when you awaken, then dry with a soft towel.
Employ your vacuum cleaner.
Clean out cabinets using your vacuum. Try using the vacuum brush attachment to quickly suck up crumbs rather than wasting time trying to remove them with a cloth. Using this cleaning method also helps clean up pantry shelves.
Spotless countertops.
Your kitchen countertops must be spotless and clutter-free even for the most elementary tasks. You don't want to be cooking tonight's meal over a smattering of leftover crumbs, after all. Start by placing the soiled dishes, small appliances, and other items back where they belong. Think about the material of your countertop before you clean and disinfect it. Care must be taken with varied surfaces. White vinegar diluted with warm water or warm soapy water will usually work.
Cleaning your stove.
Since there is a good chance that there will be small spills and splatters, you should really clean your stove top after each use. Stains will only get more difficult to remove if you let them rest for a couple of days. But various stoves demand various cleaning procedures.
To remove difficult stains from a glass stovetop, use a single-edged scraper. On the remaining stain, apply a glass stove cleaner and let it sit before wiping it clean.
A gas stovetop's grates should always be cleaned first. Clean with a soft cloth, soak in hot, soapy water, or, if the maker specifies it, put in the dishwasher. Before putting the stove grates back, clean the burners with a tiny brush and a moist towel. While cleaning an electric stovetop, remove the electric coil burners before cleaning. They should be washed in warm, soapy water and fully dried. Reposition the coils and clean the remainder of the stovetop.
