Unveiling the most powerful string inverter in the world solar energy market
Ningbo Ginlong Technologies solar inverters manufacturing company unveiled its three-phase solar string inverter with 255 kW power and 99% efficiency. It is said that this inverter, which is marketed under the Solis brand, has the most power among string inverters. The Solis-255K-EHV inverter is transformer-free and is offered in the solar energy market with dimensions of 382*720*1255 mm and weight of 117 kg.
Along with high power and two-way solar panels
The new Celis inverter has 14 channels of maximum power point tracking (MPPT), 28 string inputs with a voltage range of 600 to 1500 volts.
The maximum direct current (DC) input to the inverter is 26 amps and the maximum open circuit current is 40 amps. This amount is beyond the values of current inverters in the solar energy market, which has made the new Celis inverter a very suitable option for installation in solar power plants that use double-sided or high-power photovoltaic panels.
Reducing the levelized cost of solar power plant energy
Ginlong Company has said that this solar inverters can be used in projects where the solar power plant is built at a maximum height of 4,000 meters above sea level. Also, the suitable ambient temperature for using this inverter is between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius. This inverter has an IP66 degree of protection, intelligent cooling technology, lightning protection and monitoring of each array separately.
Celis' new 255kW inverter is ideal for large-scale photovoltaic solar power plants. The company has announced that if this inverter is used in the 6.3 MW sample plant, the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) would be reduced by more than 3.5%.
