Now, I am not suggesting you visit Manali, as it is sadly full of people. Instead, I am suggesting a trip to Sissu, which is 30 km north of Manali. For more than five months, it’s closed to tourists. However, you can enter this village with the help of a local, even when it’s closed to travelers.

2. Jaisalmer, Rajatshan

Jaisalmer is the true desert city of India, with 30-60 meter tall sand dunes. It’s also effectively closed for tourists in summer (though not officially), as no one likes the hot Rajasthan summer. But still, in summer, you will find many solo travelers, like me, who visit Jaisalmer for better health. Plus, you can also enjoy sightseeing in Jaisalmer city, which is full of havelis, palaces, and some amazing food.

3. Ranthambore National Park

RNP is also in Rajasthan, and also close to toruists in rainy season. And thats the best time to visit Ranthambore as solo traveller. Yes you won't be enjoying the tiger safari, and then you are not a happy traveller here visiting with your wife. Even in monsoon, you can visit some parts of Jungle here and its damn beautiful.
