Education and Career

Sherry pursued her higher education at Lambton College in Sarnia, Canada, where she completed her graduation. She began her professional journey with Air India and later joined Mercury Travels, serving as a Regional Manager in Bengaluru, Karnataka. After a distinguished career in the travel industry, she retired from her corporate role.


Personal Life

During her tenure at Air India, Sherry met Dinky Batliwala, an engineer employed with Swiss Air. The couple married and settled in Chennai. They have a daughter named Brandy Batliwala, who works in the corporate sector and resides in New York.


Family Legacy

Sherry's father, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, is celebrated as one of India's most distinguished military leaders. Her mother, Silloo Manekshaw, was a dedicated social worker. Sherry has a younger sister, Maja Daruwala, who is a noted advocate.
