How status in Canada affects movement between Canadian provinces. Many people dream of moving to Canada. Find out how to do it and which of these ways is the most effective from an immigration consultant Edmonton
VISITOR VISA
With this status, you are not limited in your movements, but you are limited in the length of stay - no more than 6 months.
Well, it is worth reminding you again that with this status, you have no right to work in Canada.
STUDY PERMIT
You can change colleges/universities and move to another province, but you must inform the CIC (Department of Citizenship and Immigration)
You can work and live in any province in Canada with this status
REGULAR WORK PERMIT
This type of work permit fixes where exactly you will work, for which company, in which position, etc.
Therefore, it will not be valid for living and working in another province or for another company
PERMANENT RESIDENT (PR)
No restrictions on moving around the provinces and territories of the country.
The only thing that can keep you from moving is your contract with your employer, which stipulates a certain period of work in a particular place. But any contract has a termination clause, so you will be able to terminate the contract if necessary (different contracts have different compensation for termination).
