Social Anxiety is nothing to shake a dick at. Stick at. Wait, what did I say? This video has one of the many answers when we try to explain why some people get social anxiety when meeting new people or when they are in social situations (hence the name 'social anxiety').
There is a great book called Mastery by Robert Greene which explains this concept of the brain being a filter and how depending on the individual, there work very differently.
If you are a highly sensitive person, chances are your filter isn't as 'thick' as other peoples are you take in a lot of stimuli from the environment. I go into much more detail in the video so please have a cup of decaf tea, relax and enjoy the show!

These videos are meant to breakdown the stigma of mental illness and take a bit of a lighter approach to recovery. Mental health does not only involve the mind but has a direct correlation with the body. I do my best to make videos that describe treatments that can help both the mind and body while making them fun and motivational. My main focus on this channel is depression and anxiety since I experience both personally.
Let's fight the stigma together. You have the strength to overcome whatever you may be struggling with at this specific moment in time. Never give up. Never surrender.
