CEO Robin Hayes of JetBlue said, "Our transatlantic slope service demonstrates how JetBlue's entry into a new market lowers fares and benefits customers." We are excited to provide our award-winning service, as well as our highly regarded Mint and core products at cheap rates, to consumers flying to and from Amsterdam as we extend JetBlue's transatlantic presence.
The sale occurs just before JetBlue's June 1 launch of service to Paris, the airline's first destination in continental Europe from New York. (In August 2021, JetBlue began operating flights to continental Europe; at first, it only served London.
On July 5, JetBlue will add two additional flights from North Carolina and Florida to Puerto Rico. Every day, the airline will fly nonstop between Raleigh and San Juan, North Carolina, and Tampa and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. With the addition of these routes, JetBlue will provide service to Puerto Rico from a total of 12 destinations throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
"As the largest airline in Puerto Rico, we are thrilled to continue diversifying our network and further growing JetBlue's presence on the island with the addition of these two new routes," Hayes said in a statement. Our commitment to bolstering tourism on the island and facilitating family connections will be strengthened, and consumers flying to and from Raleigh and Tampa will have more options thanks to this expansion.
