Not just for BMX racing
Though originally denoting a bicycle intended for BMX racing, the term "et bmx bikes" is But now used as a generic term to include race bikes, Freestyle, and 'dirt jumpers'.
· Frame- Steel, Alloy or Carbon
· Dirt- Thicker and wider tyre treads
· Park- Lightweight frames with or without breaks.
· Racing- (Breaks required). Lightweight and customisable gearing not aimed at trick riding.
· Street- Heavy construct with axel pegs to balance on street objects. Usually have no breaks and the rider stops by 'booting' the back tyre.
