A Lone Rose

Surviving harsh winters and the frigid cold,
Clinging tightly to its roots,
Stands a rose with a story to be told,
Richer than any of your loots.
Its beauty is unparalleled, none can contest it,
Though its journey was indeed a tough one.
But its spirit didn't waver, not one bit,
It persevered until triumph was won.
The sun shines brightly on its petals,
As the sweet dew drops to the ground,
To spread its will, stronger than all metals,
To its neighbors that were abound.
