Stainless Steel 347 / 347H Fasteners Specification
Niobium (also known as columbium) is used as a stabilizing element in 347 stainless steel, an austenitic stainless steel alloy. High-temperature stability and intergranular corrosion resistance are enhanced compared to standard 321 stainless steel. Bolts, screws, nuts, washers, and other fastening components can all be found among 347 stainless steel fasteners. When high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and stability are required, these fasteners step up to the plate. We produce precision fasteners to exact dimensional specifications, meeting or exceeding all applicable national and international quality standards. The austenitic stainless steel SS 347/347H is a columbium stabilized with high corrosion resistance. Intergranular corrosion due to carbide precipitation at high temperatures poses no threat to this grade. High durability and adaptability are hallmarks of the SS 347/347H Fasteners we produce, developed and designed with premium-grade alloy. Because of its high carbon content, 347H gives fasteners unrivaled strength. Even in the most demanding settings, our fasteners will not disappoint you. Additional benefits include resistance to corrosion and high temperatures (up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit) in SS 347/347H fasteners.
347 stainless steel can withstand temperatures between 1472 and 1652 degrees Fahrenheit thanks to its high-temperature strength. This makes it useful in fields where high temperatures are frequently encountered, such as the petrochemical, power generation, and aerospace industries. Adding niobium to 347 stainless steel boosts the material's resistance to intergranular corrosion. Because of this, it can be used in situations where corrosion from acids and alkalis could be a problem. Weldability and high-temperature resistance are both strong suits of 347 stainless steel. The intergranular corrosion caused by chromium carbide precipitates is avoided thanks to this quality. The high strength and adaptability of fasteners made from 347 stainless steel make them ideal for use when strong, long-lasting connections are required. Many different uses: The chemical processing, oil and gas, heat exchanger, boiler, and exhaust system industries are just a few examples of the many fields that benefit from 347 stainless steel fasteners' high temperature and corrosion resistance.
JF Engineering Products LLP manufactures and distributes high-quality SS 347/347H fasteners in industry-standard and custom dimensions and specifications.
