I can’t possibly know
Why are we in each other’s lives,
Why do we connect to change the course of fate?
But whatever’s left, whatever survives
Would have to be great.
There is a wisdom in all the confusion,
Of intrusion and strife.
Certainty’s constrain is the absence of dare.
We need to lose and hurt and despair
To learn to respect the wonders of life.
Therefore I rejoice
For the absence of choice in the matters of fate.
I celebrate. Our paths have crossed
for a worthy cause which will never be lost.
I honour the wisdom of providence
With confidence. I see the connection.
We are here to complete each other
On our way to perfection.
