How Pipes Made of Stainless Steel 304 Are Created
Continuous casting is used to make 304 stainless steel tubes. There is no other way to produce stainless steel 304 tubes, even though it is an expensive and time-consuming operation.
During the continuous casting process, molten metal is poured into a mould and solidified around it. The liquid portion of the metal is then kept for later use after the solid portion of the metal has been separated from it. A liquid metal must go through several further processing steps before it can be turned into a completed product.
